Eve + Manuel

The story of Eve and Manuel:

“So, as far as how Manuel and I met: it was love at first…‘OK Cupid’ message?  Clearly not but we did meet online.  Truth be told, I was not convinced I really wanted to go out with him so I agreed to meet him at a kind of grungy bar in the West Village at 9pm on a Sunday (a death knell day/time combo for those most who have experienced the NY dating scene).  Manuel, being relatively new to NY from Germany, had no problem with this and thought nothing of it until I fessed up some time later. Needless to say, after that first date, we went out another 3 times within a week and figured out pretty quickly that this was no fling.  After a year we were engaged and another (almost) year later we were married and had you as our awesome photographer.” - Eve

They got ready at the Le Parker Meridien on 57th Street. Their ceremony was at the Unitarian Church of All Souls on Lexington Avenue and 80th Street, just walking distance from their reception at the Loeb Boathouse in Central Park.
